I spent an afternoon wandering the uniquely colored sand dunes of the desert near Factory Butte outside of Hanksville, Utah fighting intense winds and could not help believe I had teleported to another planet. As sunset began, the sky burst into color and the dunes glistened with yellow and green highlights reminding me of the cover to Ray Bradbury’s The Martian Chronicles. || Factory Butte, near Hanksville, Utah, June 2020
